My Pathway to Reiki
Looking back, it is clear that Reiki seemed to randomly present itself in my life at different times over the course of many years. Thankfully, Reiki kept showing up until I was ready to learn.
The very first time was when I unexpectedly received a Reiki treatment when I was pregnant with my first child. While I was amazed and grateful for the results of that single treatment, I was focused on being a first-time mom and I was not thinking about anything but a new baby. However, I never forgot about that first experience.
About 12 years later, I was working in a rewarding and quite demanding job in a large hospital system in Arizona. Every so often, a local Reiki Master and her students would offer short treatments to members of the hospital staff – usually during the lunch hour. I participated whenever I could. It was always a lovely, relaxing, and refreshing experience. At that time, I considered taking a class but “didn’t think that I could do it.” I didn’t think that I had a “special gift or ability” to generate this energy that always seemed to have such a positive effect on my wellbeing. While I felt the desire to learn, I lacked the confidence to proceed.
Another 6 years passed, and one day I saw a post about Reiki and without hesitation, (or the usual in-depth research that I do) I registered for a class that day. Reiki kept showing up until I was ready! I am so grateful because it has had a transformative effect on my life and wellbeing.
The word Reiki is frequently translated to mean spiritually-guided, universal life force energy. Anyone can learn Reiki. Reiki is unique in that the ability to channel the Reiki energy is passed from the Reiki Master to the student via an attunement process. Once you have been attuned to Reiki you will always be able to access and channel Reiki energy. Reiki is universal life force energy so the energy does not come from the Reiki practitioner. The Reiki practitioner accesses and channels the energy but does not generate it. There are no special skills, gifts, or abilities required to learn Reiki.

I use Reiki every day. I perform self-Reiki, usually while I am meditating. I use Reiki to charge my food and my water. I treat my plants and my flower gardens with Reiki. I love crystals and I use Reiki to charge them, as well. I have used Reiki to find lost items – I know that this may sound a bit strange, but it works! I will tap into Reiki when I need a boost of energy or to support my own physical healing. The possibilities are many. Of course, I use Reiki to treat other people and it’s a privilege to do so. Reiki is a part of my daily life and I am so thankful that I can tap into this source of energy whenever I need it.

Reiki Classes
Usui Reiki Ryoho/Holy Fire®III Reiki Levels 1 & 2
Class Overview: Reiki 1 & 2 are taught over two days. The class will include lecture, discussion, restorative guided meditations, and practice. This is an experiential class that takes place in a supportive and uplifting environment.
Prerequisite: There are no prerequisites for this class beyond a desire to learn!
Some of the topics that we will cover include:
- What is Reiki, its history, and ideals
- The standard hand positions for treating yourself and others
- Japanese Reiki Techniques which support the Reiki Practitioner in identifying areas where
- Reiki energy is needed, how to use your intuition to support your Reiki treatments, how to send
- Reiki with the eyes, and techniques to clear the energy field
- The three Reiki symbols which enhance our Reiki practice and serve as pathways to the Reiki
- energy frequencies and how to apply the symbols in your Reiki practice
- How to conduct a Reiki session for yourself and others
- How to develop a Reiki practice for yourself and considerations related to developing a Reiki Business
You will receive:
- The Healing Touch Reiki Manual
- Reiki Level 1 and 2 Attunements/Placements allow you to channel Reiki energy to yourself, others and animals.
- You will be able to channel Reiki in person or from a distance.
- Certificate of completion for Usui Reiki Ryoho/Holy Fire ®III Reiki Levels 1 & 2
- Ongoing support and mentoring
Tuition: $475.00 which includes a $200.00 deposit to reserve your space in the class. The remainder of the tuition ($275.00) will be due one week prior to the first day of class. Class sizes will be limited. Deposits are not refundable however they may be applied to another class within 1 year.

Usui/Holy Fire®III Reiki Master
Class Overview: The Master Training is taught over three days. The class will include lecture, discussion, restorative guided meditations, attunements/ placements, and practice. This is an experiential class that takes place in a supportive and uplifting environment. You will learn the content to support and strengthen your ongoing Reiki practice and have the ability to attune others to the Reiki energy.
Prerequisites: Students must have taken Reiki I&II, have practiced Reiki II for at least six months. Students must be able to draw the three symbols from Reiki II from memory.
Some of the content and topics covered in this class include:
- The Usui Master symbol and placement/attunement which increases the effectiveness of the Reiki II symbols
- The Holy Fire® symbol is given for a total of five symbols for the entire system
- Four Ignitions/ Attunements
- Learn how to make a Reiki crystal grid
- Instruction on how to give Reiki Placements/ Attunements for Reiki I&II, ART
- How to conduct the Healing in the River of Life Experience and the four Ignitions for Reiki Master
- Learn to administer The Holy Fire® Healing Experience that can be given to anyone and directs the powerful Holy Fire® energies to heal
- How to give yourself Experiences, Placements, and Ignitions
- The values and spiritual orientation of a true Reiki Master
- Learn how to structure your Reiki classes
- Discussion related to developing your Reiki business.
You will receive:
- Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master Manual which is over 180 pages and includes meditations, class outlines information on starting a Reiki business etc…
- Usui/Holy Fire®III Reiki Master Class Certificate
- Ongoing support and mentoring
Tuition: $1200.00 which includes a $500.00 deposit to reserve your space in the class. The remainder of the tuition ($700.00) will be due one week prior to the start of class. Class sizes will be limited. Deposits are not refundable; however, they may be applied to another class within 1 year.

Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®
Class Overview: This class is the next step after Reiki Master and is both a practitioner and a Master class. The Karuna Reiki is taught over three days. The class will include lecture, discussion, restorative guided meditations, attunements/ placements, and practice. This is an experiential class that takes place in a supportive and uplifting environment. We will also incorporate sound healing through chanting and toning the Karuna symbols. You will learn the content to support and strengthen your ongoing Reiki practice and have the ability to attune others to Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®
Prerequisites: Because this class is the next step after Reiki Master, students must practice at the Reiki Master level for at least six months prior to taking Karuna Reiki. Reiki Masters from any Reiki lineage may take Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®

- Learn and use the 8 beautiful Karuna Reiki® practitioner symbols in Reiki sessions

- Learn to administer The Holy Fire® Healing Experience that can be given to anyone and directs the powerful Holy Fire® energies to heal
- Instruction on how to give Reiki Placements/ Attunements for Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®
- Preparing to teach: Discussion of teaching classes online
- Preparing to teach: Discussion and review of class outlines and content

- A 142 page Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® manual
- Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Certificate
